Who We Are
About the Pennsylvania Congolese Community (PCC)
The Pennsylvania Congolese Community (PCC) was founded in 2024 by Congolese immigrants and refugees committed to supporting families, preserving heritage, and promoting integration into American society.
Early Efforts
Starting as a volunteer-led initiative, PCC organized community gatherings, cultural events, and small support programs for families and youth, focusing on building trust and unity.
Nonprofit and 501(c)(3) Status
In 2025, PCC officially registered as a nonprofit in Pennsylvania and received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt recognition from the IRS, allowing it to accept donations, apply for grants, and expand its programs.

Economic Development
At the Pennsylvania Congolese Community, we advocate for socio-economic growth by empowering individuals with the tools they need to succeed. Our programs provide essential resources and training opportunities designed to promote financial independence and strengthen our community’s economy.
We offer support in areas such as job readiness, financial literacy, and small business development. Whether it’s helping someone prepare for employment, manage their finances, or start their own business, we are committed to building a resilient and thriving Congolese community in Pennsylvania.
Immigration Support
We understand that navigating the immigration process can be challenging. That’s why we provide guidance and assistance with immigration-related documents, including green card applications, work permits, naturalization, and other legal processes. Our goal is to ensure that every member of our community has access to the support and information needed to achieve legal stability and security in the United States.
